The Miami-born global superstar continues his latest era with a new album, an international tour and an upcoming appearance at Billboard Latin Music Week.

Pitbull is officially entering a new chapter.

The Cuban-American superstar, entrepreneur and philanthropist has announced his 14th studio album, Pitcoin, set for release on October 8. The project arrives as the Miami-born artist continues his massive I’m Back Tour alongside Lil Jon, further proving that more than two decades into his career, Mr. Worldwide remains one of Latin music’s most recognizable global figures.

Born Armando Christian Pérez, Pitbull has built a career that extends far beyond chart-topping hits. From Miami clubs to arenas around the world, he has transformed the “Mr. 305” identity into an international brand — and the title Pitcoin appears to play directly into the entrepreneurial persona that has increasingly become part of his public image.

A New Album in the Middle of a Global Tour

The announcement comes while Pitbull is on the road with his I’m Back Tour, which has taken him across the United States, Europe, Canada and the United Kingdom.

One of the tour’s most memorable moments happened in London, where Pitbull helped inspire a Guinness World Record at BST Hyde Park. More than 22,000 fans reportedly wore bald caps in tribute to the singer’s signature look, setting a record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps.

The achievement took place before an estimated crowd of approximately 70,000 people, illustrating the unusual cultural phenomenon that has developed around Pitbull’s concerts in recent years. Fans have increasingly embraced the bald-cap tradition as part of the experience of seeing Mr. Worldwide live.

From Trackhouse to Pitcoin

Pitcoin follows Pitbull’s 13th studio album, Trackhouse, released in 2023.

Throughout his career, Pitbull has demonstrated an ability to move between Latin, hip-hop, pop, dance and electronic music while collaborating with artists from across the global music industry. His catalog includes international hits that have made him a fixture on radio, streaming platforms, clubs and major sporting and entertainment events.

The upcoming album will add another chapter to a recording career that has helped turn a Miami rapper into one of the most internationally recognizable Latino entertainers of his generation.

Mr. Worldwide Is Also Mr. Business

Music, however, represents only one part of the Pitbull empire.

Over the years, the artist has expanded into numerous business ventures, including his record label Mr. 305 Records, Voli 305 Vodka and Globalization, his SiriusXM channel.

His transformation from recording artist to businessman has become an important component of the Pitbull story. The name Pitcoin itself seems perfectly aligned with that evolution, combining the familiar “Pit” branding with a reference to the language of cryptocurrency and the digital economy.

Beyond entertainment and business, Pitbull has also maintained a significant commitment to education.

He co-founded SLAM! — Sports Leadership Arts Management, a tuition-free public charter school network. The organization currently serves more than 10,000 students across 14 campuses in the United States, connecting education with areas including sports leadership, arts and management.

Pitbull Heads to Billboard Latin Music Week

Pitbull’s busy 2026 will also bring him to one of the Latin music industry’s most important annual gatherings.

The artist is scheduled to take the stage at Billboard Latin Music Week in October, adding another major appearance to a year already defined by touring, business ventures and the arrival of his next studio project.

For an artist who has spent much of his career turning Miami culture into a global calling card, Pitcoin feels like another extension of the philosophy behind the Pitbull brand: think internationally, embrace reinvention and keep expanding.

With his 14th studio album arriving October 8, Mr. Worldwide is once again betting on himself — and after more than two decades in the game, Pitbull’s global operation shows little sign of slowing down.
