A Concert for Hope
“Unidos Por Venezuela” was created in response to the catastrophic 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, causing widespread destruction in Caracas and La Guaira. According to international reports, the disaster claimed nearly 5,000 lives, injured more than 16,000 people, and left approximately 18,000 residents homeless.
The concert is part of a broader humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting the country’s recovery and long-term reconstruction.
An International Humanitarian Effort
The benefit concert and international telethon are being organized by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision, and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with support from iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations, and Arco Entertainment.
Throughout the broadcast, viewers will be able to contribute through QR codes, text messages, digital platforms, corporate donations, and matching gift campaigns. Organizers confirmed that all funds raised will be administered by internationally recognized humanitarian organizations to address the immediate and long-term needs of affected communities.
The event will also feature special reports highlighting rescue operations, humanitarian efforts on the ground, and personal stories from survivors, showcasing the resilience and determination of the Venezuelan people.
