The singer says the decision was made to ensure fans experience the show safely and as originally intended.
Ariana Grande has announced the rescheduling of three dates on her highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine Tour after production challenges raised safety concerns ahead of the scheduled performances.
The Grammy-winning superstar shared the update with fans through her Instagram Stories on Monday, explaining that the changes were necessary to prioritize safety and maintain the quality of the production.
As part of the schedule adjustments, Grande’s July 12 concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn has been moved to July 14. In Boston, her performances originally scheduled for July 22 and July 24 at TD Garden will now take place on July 23 and July 26, respectively.
“We are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes,” Grande wrote. “This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention.”
She emphasized that the decision was made with both fans and crew members in mind.
“The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run,” she added, thanking fans for their patience and understanding.
Grande also confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, with ticket holders expected to receive additional information directly from the event organizers.
A Long-Awaited Return to the Stage
The Eternal Sunshine Tour kicked off earlier this month in Oakland, California, marking Ariana Grande’s first headlining tour since the Sweetener World Tour in 2019.
The tour supports her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 following its 2024 release. The critically acclaimed project also produced two Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers: “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”
A Career-Spanning Setlist
Fans attending the tour can expect a setlist that celebrates both Grande’s latest era and her biggest hits. Alongside tracks from Eternal Sunshine, the show features fan favorites from albums including Positions, Dangerous Woman, My Everything, and thank u, next, making it one of her most comprehensive live productions to date.
At this time, the production-related schedule changes affect only the three announced performances. The remainder of the North American tour is expected to continue as planned before Grande takes the Eternal Sunshine Tour to international audiences later this year.
